Freedom – it is costly

Freedom

Without our freedom, nearly everything else we enjoy as Americans wouldn’t be possible. Luckily, that’s what most Patriots believe and why our Freedom box is always the first to sell out at shows and our number #1 selling box online!

We think it’s important and fun to point out our daily freedoms to our children. That’s why our motto is Pass Down Patriotism!

Enjoy that book you’re reading? Want to wear whatever you find comfortable? Excited about that restaurant you’re headed to? Eager for your weekly youth group meeting? Saving up to start your own business someday? These, among many, many others, are freedoms not every kid around the world gets to experience!

It’s imperative that the youth of America understand all that’s been fought for in the past, both distant and recent. The extreme sacrifices that have been made should not be taken lightly. Too often these sacrifices are “out of sight, out of mind” for Americans without family members serving our country. Likewise, even those of us with family in the service can take it all for granted when we get lost in the busy-ness of our day to day.

Operation: Appreciate Freedom

But, the good news is this: it’s easy to remind ourselves! Furthermore, doing so instantly generates gratitude in our hearts for all that was paid for our freedom!

As our kids’ appreciation of their freedoms increases, so does their self-esteem and belief in their own abilities!

A Kids AMERICAN kid more readily recognizes the resources at their disposal. Having realized these opportunities, they set goals and go at them with ambition and patriotism in their hearts!

Kids in America have so many possibilities! Let us celebrate this and remind our kids regularly that these opportunities came with a price–that often we ourselves didn’t have to pay.

KIDS CAN: be excited about being a youth in today’s America, count their daily blessings by highlighting the freedoms they enjoy, spend time befriending those new to their schools because of a military move, and so much more!
